On the West coast of India,
crowned by the Western Ghats on the east and being lashed by the melodiously singing waves of the Arabian sea, lies the Pearl of the Orient; Goa. Known as 'Dourado de Goa', it remained a Portuguese colony for around 450 years. The impact of the Portuguese rule lingers in the very fabric of the Goan culture making it unique in its own ways. Goan cuisine is a perfect amalgamation of the east and the west, the spices and rich sea food found in abundance is being refined to a fine art by the culinary skills brought in by the Portuguese.

Liv’s takeaway and caterers has been started by Michael F A Dias and Cefona Gracias e Dias as a family business. Their raison d’etre was to bring the zest of mesmerizing flavours of Goan Cuisine to the core of Manchester.
